Tropical Island, or Just "Camp?"

Now.... one might think that a group of children went on a scavenger hunt..... right? Wrong! This Tropical Island atmosphere was created by our "Front Row" neighbors. What a hoot-n-a-holler we've had this Summer. It seems that every time they arrive for the weekend, another "piece" of a tropical island arrived with them! They're like a group of little kids in a Garden Store!

Who ARE These Fairy's?

John and Barb, Dave and Carol all went to Wolfe Island, Canada for Lunch today..... We went to Cape Vincent by car, and then took the Ferry over the St Lawrence to the Island. What fun! We couldn't resist taking pics with the sign above us...... look closely....."Yoooooo-Hooooo!!!" I think that John and Dave are having just a little TOO much fun together.......lol

Okay.... so the slide show was just US...... getting silly! Blame Heather, it was her idea! We were just "slap-happy" enough to get caught up in it. By the time we were through, we had laughed so hard our stomachs hurt! It isn't often that we all just "let loose" like that!

Tomorrow, the REST of this tree, and two others will HIS-TO-RY, and our pool will be MUCH warmer, MUCH earlier, and stay warmer MUCH later, too!



See? We're doing our part toward global warming, in our own little corner of the world.

Tomorrow? We'll plant another tree, Al Gore!

Somebody please get this baby a coat.... and a scarf! Good WORD! I'd scream, too, Killer! What was that groomer THINKING???? Did she use the wrong clipper? Was she having a bad day? Didn't she like you, Bill????? Maybe she thought Killer should audition for the Taco Bell commercial..... I can't think of any other reason. Sheesh! Be careful when you take him to the Parkway for a walk, Bill..... The Geese might EAT him! lol

Here's a short post to brag..... The Great Kitchen Remodel is complete. My Hubby did a GREAT job!

The New Kitchen Progresses!

I know! It's been a while since I've posted...... I've been busy! Well...... JV has been busy, anyway!

This is the progress on my "new and improved" kitchen. Thanks for looking. Last night, JV jumped up from the dinner table, assembled his "tools," and got to work. He diligently masticked and placed; re-positioned, and then spaced all that you see here. Now the fun begins. Our tile cutter doesn't have the "guts" to cut the remaining tiles, so this morning, bright and early, he's off to the Folks in the Bright Orange Aprons to "procure" an adequate tile cutter. My best guess is that we'll be the proud owners of the "latest and greatest" before noon....LOL
